Frankie's Birthday

Saturday September 26th was the first of my cousin Frankie's birthdays that we have had to spend without him. I was kind of lost leading up to the day and only knew that we would probably head to The Valley to spend time with Aunt Becky.

Sharon and Frank (Frankie's dad and step mom) had the great idea that they were going to release balloons and let everybody know. That sparked a bunch of balloon releases all over the country.

Antonia (one of Frankie's dearest friends) posted on Facebook that she would be letting balloons go for Frankie in Westlake behind the apartment complex where they spent so much time together. I didn't live very close to Frankie at that time but have fun memories of there from the times I visited. They had built a couple of forts in the field behind the complex and there are a lot of good memories there. We decided to join her.
